EMI Drill Pipe Inspections

A mobile inspection method for drill pipe tubes, well loss, and daily damages, electro-magnetic inspections (EMI) offers complete electronic tracking capabilities with magnetic fields. By using the most modern systems, Turnco can identify  fatigue cracks, pits, gouges, cuts, corrosion, and other damage that exceed acceptance limits.

Magnetic Particle Testing

A versatile inspection method used for field and shop applications, Magnetic Particle testing (MT) works by magnetizing a ferromagnetic specimen using a magnet or special magnetizing equipment. If the specimen has discontinuity, the magnetic field flowing through the specimen is interrupted and leakage field occurs.

Liquid Penetrant Testing

Liquid penetrant inspection is a method that is used to reveal surface breaking flaws by bleedout of a colored or fluorescent dye from the flaw. The technique is based on the ability of a liquid to be drawn into a “clean” surface breaking flaw by capillary action. Turnco certified inspectors perform liquid penetrant testing following the highest standards of quality.

Ultrasonic Testing

A fast, precise and cost-effective inspection method, Ultrasonic Testing uses high frequency sound energy to conduct examinations and make measurements. Turnco’s highly-trained staff of certified ultrasonic inspectors leverage advanced Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for flaw detection/evaluation, dimensional measurements, material characterization, and more.
